"By forming a single national practice, Deloitte & Touche enhances its ability to assist its clients across the full spectrum of compliance and risk management issues," Watson said. "The combined practice leverages firm competencies, demonstrates a 'boundary-less' approach to client service, and strengthens our position in a large and growing market."
In addition, the firm has named three new leaders to the combined practice. Jody Noon, formerly a partner and health care section leader for the Portland office of the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine, has been named head of the health care regulatory and dispute consulting practice in the Western region and a partner with D&T. Partner Carole Klove, formerly a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine in Los Angeles, has been tapped to lead the firm's Pacific Southwest health care regulatory and dispute consulting practice. Sheryl Vacca, formerly the chief compliance officer at Sutter Health, has been named as a director in the Sacramento office. She will lead D&T's health care regulatory and dispute consulting practices in Northern California and Hawaii.
