Webcast Series to Provide Computerized CPA Exam Updates Oct. 9, 2003 (SmartPros) The first of four live Webcasts about the computer-based Uniform CPA Examination will broadcast next week. Presented by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, and Prometric, a part of The Thomson Corp., the Webcasts will help inform candidates, students, educators, and CPA employers about the computerized exam, which launches in April 2004.
The first Webcast, "Educators: How to Prepare for the Computerized CPA Exam," is geared toward educators and those who prepare CPA exam candidates. The Webcast is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. All Webcasts will run during these hours and are free of charge.
These programs will offer updated exam information from the profession's leading experts. Viewers will have the opportunity to interact with the presenters and participate in the discussion. Participants can register for the webcasts at the dedicated CPA exam Web site, www.cpa-exam.org. The following is the schedule of the other Webcasts:
Following their live broadcast, the programs will be archived and available for repeated viewing on the exam Web site.
