Tax Talk to Cover '06 Filing Season Dec. 7, 2005 (SmartPros) This month's edition of Tax Talk Today, a Webcast co-sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, will be the first of a two-part series on the 2006 filing season. Aimed at educating tax and payroll professionals on the most contemporary and complex tax issues, the program is "Get Ready for Filing Season: Part One -- Individuals." The hour-long Webcast is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, at 2 p.m. EDT. Tax professionals who prepare Forms 1040, 1040A and 1040-EZ are encouraged to watch and submit questions. With the 2006 tax filing season coming up fast, December's Tax Talk Today panel will discuss the tax law changes and IRS processing issues that will impact filing returns for most individual taxpayers. Panelists will share tips to help tax preparers avoid the most common errors on returns they file.
